Inclement Weather Information for February 4
Children, Youth, & Adult Programs Canceled

Out of an abundance of caution, the church office will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, February 4 with an opening of 10:00 am.

All children, youth, and adult programs scheduled for this Wednesday are canceled. This cancelation applies to church related activities including Children's Choir, "WOW", Wednesday Night Supper, Communicant & Acolyte Training, Handbell Choir, and Adult Choir.

Please note, the Session will meet at 6:30 pm for Officer Examinations for those who feel comfortable traveling and can arrive safely. The meeting will be held in the Multipurpose Room.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate schedule changes due to inclement weather conditions. We look forward to gathering this Sunday for fellowship and worship with one another. Due to continued hazardous road conditions in our area, the church office and Weekday School will be closed on Tuesday, February 3. This closure applies to all programs and meetings scheduled at the church for tomorrow. Please stay tuned for future communications regarding a reopening.

Inclement Weather Information for February 2

Due to snow and hazardous road conditions, the church office and Weekday School will be closed on Monday, February 2.

This closure applies to all church programs and meetings which were scheduled at First Presbyterian Church for tomorrow.

We will provide additional information about future operations as conditions evolve and decisions are made regarding a safe return. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Inclement Weather Update: Friday, January 29

⚠️ Services & Church-Related Activities Canceled January 31 & February 1 ⚠️

As we look ahead to this weekend, we are anticipating winter weather and snowy conditions in our area. While forecasts continue to vary regarding the amount of snow, out of an abundance of caution and with the safety of our congregation in mind, all church services and church-related activities for this weekend have been canceled. Please note the following changes below:

  • Men's Breakfast: Our men's gathering for this Saturday, January 31 is canceled and will resume Saturday, February 7.

  • Worship Canceled This Sunday: Both the 8:30 & 11:00 am services, as well as Sunday School, have been canceled for this Sunday, February 1.

  • Rise Against Hunger: The Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Event originally scheduled for this Sunday has been postponed. The new date will be Sunday, March 29 at noon. Please stay tuned for future registration.

  • GriefShare Group: Our grief recovery group which was scheduled to begin this Sunday, will now start on Sunday, February 8 at 4:00 pm.

  • New Officer Examination: The New Officer Examination has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 4 at 6:30 pm, weather permitting.

  • Stated Meeting of the Session: The Stated Meeting of the Session scheduled for this Sunday has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 8 at 12:30 pm.

While we will truly miss not gathering in person this weekend, we are grateful for your understanding as we prioritize safety. Please continue to watch for updates as weather conditions evolve, and keep one another in prayer during this time.
